Headlights
Headlights and tail lights from Poland, checked and packed to arrive whole
Headlights are among the parts we're asked for most: a new one from a dealer can cost a fortune, while Polish breakers and marketplaces sell used ones, often for far less. We recently sent a front headlight for a Mercedes to a customer in Brazil. We find the light, check its condition and part number, and pack it so it arrives in one piece.
Condition checked
We ask the seller about cracks, scratches, moisture inside and broken mounting tabs, and get close-up photos before you pay.
The right version
Halogen, xenon or LED, left or right, European or US version: we match the part number to your car.
Packed for the trip
Plenty of padding and a strong box, because a headlight is fragile and expensive.
What we find
- •Front headlights: halogen, xenon and LED
- •Adaptive and Matrix LED headlights
- •Tail lights and third brake lights
- •Fog lights and indicators
- •Control modules and ballasts
- •Mounting brackets and repair tabs
What we check before you pay
- •The part number, against your VIN or your old light
- •Halogen, xenon or LED, and whether it needs a control module
- •Cracks, deep scratches and yellowed lenses
- •Moisture or condensation inside
- •Broken mounting tabs
- •Close-up photos, or a video of the light working if the seller can test it
Left- and right-hand drive, Europe and the USA
Headlights are made for the side of the road a car drives on: a light from a left-hand-drive European car aims its beam differently from one made for the UK, and lights for the US market are a different design again. Many fit physically but may need adjusting or coding, and may not be road-legal in your country. We check the part number for your car; please check your local rules before buying.
How we pack lights
Lights are fragile, so we pack each one with padding on every side, protecting the lens and the mounting tabs, in a strong box. You get photos of the light when it reaches us, before it travels.
What it costs
Our fee starts from 49 PLN per order and depends on the work: a single light from one seller costs the least; several sellers or a trip to a breaker's yard cost more. Shipping to the USA starts from 159 PLN for a small parcel; a headlight's box is bulky, so its shipping is quoted individually. The light's price and shipping are listed separately in your quote.
Questions about this service
Will a European headlight work in the USA?
Often not without changes: US cars use headlights of a different design, and European lights may not be approved for US roads. We check the part number for your car; please check your local rules before buying.
Can you find just the lens or a repair kit?
Sometimes. Some sellers sell lenses, housings and repair tabs separately; tell us what is broken and we'll look.
What if the light arrives damaged?
We pack lights carefully and photograph them before they travel. For an expensive light you can add shipping insurance, listed in your quote.
